SiWC time

so, i haven't blogged much... darn... o well, it's happened before, and it might happen again

the SiWC happens on Friday... wooooooooo... i hope it's bunches of fun... with any luck, i'll get to meet with some literary agent, plug my books and books-in-progress... i think there's like, 3 or 4 of them

and NaNoWriMo starts soon... i have no idea what i'm going to write about this year, maybe just use it as an excuse to write 50,000 more words on what i'm working on right now, or start something new... i don't really want to start something new, i like what i'm working on right now, but i have an idea for a new book

Re-organizing my brain

so, after some thought, and no new writing, and finding some new music to listen to, i've decided to re-write the beginning of this new novel i'm working on... instead of waiting for when it's time to edit, or switching gears and editing the one i already have finished

well, it happens... i think i wrote myself into a weird spot, and have written little to no back story on my narrator/main character... i think i need to do that and flush out my brain and make sure that everything's going to make sense

so, now it's like i'm writing it over again, but i think i'll keep some of the bits i've already written

Why school sucks

it sucks... i've barely gotten any writing done in the past few days... maybe after i get home from class tomorrow i'll just hide out in my room and write until i fall asleep... of course, i'll have to listen to a bunch of music to get my writing groove back... i get into different moods when i listen to music

The time of death

my classes have started again... darn... o well... maybe it won't be so bad this time around... at least i met some interesting people today in my tutorial... they seem pretty nice

i've been writing the new book... which needs a better title... i wanted to mention both the fact that she's a photographer and that he's a vampire... i've been listening to a lot of Evanescence as i write this... i think that when i get a better feel for what i'm writing, or when i finish, i'll put up a theme playlist for this new book

i've started writing a new book... i was going to wait and start it for this year's NaNoWriMo, but i was just so interested in the plot i thought up i didn't want to wait... so, i have about 2,000 words written, and i'm going to get as much done during the week-end before classes start on Tuesday

i don't want to go back to school and so on... but i have to... o well
